The Healthy Planet of Brevard is a not-for-profit organization in Brevard County Florida actively promoting the multifaceted benefits of a planet-based diet. Whether its to improve our health, encourage compassion for animals or to achieve a sustainable environment, the positive impacts of a plant-based diet are far reaching. We visit local restaurants for our monthly vegan "Dining Outs", have monthly vegan Potlucks and also bring in speakers, medical doctors and animal advocates for inspiring health related talks. It is our goal to not only strengthen our existing community but also to educate the public by setting an example. Because Healthy Planet is a volunteer run not-for-profit organization, we rely on our membership base to cover our various costs. Would you like to be more involved? Join the core group!
The Healthy Planet is run by sheer volunteer man (and woman) power, and we are always in need of additional input and a fresh point of view. All of us come together to share what they can, in the amount that they can, to share ideas and inspiration. The core group meets monthly to plan future events including our potlucks, vegan dining outs, guest speakers, as well as our yearly events like our July Independence From Meet and our Turkey Free Thanksgiving.
